About this campaign
Mango came into our life 4 years ago and has been our light ever since. From neighborhood to family and friends, everyone knows and loves Mango. You can find her playing fetch with her Papa, gardening with her Grandma or swinging from her rope in her tree, unless its a lazy day then she's sunbathing! My daughter named our pup Mango, since we all favor the fruit on the daily. Mango likes mangos too!
We noticed her moving a bit slow after strenuous activity with a mild limp along with taking her time getting up from softer surfaces. We started to worry and booked an appointment.Pacific Paws in Seattle saw Mango and did a very thorough and compassionate exam to assess her condition.Turns out she has the equivalent to a human ACL partial tear. Surgery is the only definite answer, buying time now.
Mango is the dog everyone dreams of having. She is patient, caring and loyal. She LOVES family gatherings where she gets to visit and show off her toys and talents to everyone. Mango was on the news for her skill of hanging from her rope in the tree. She is known around the whole neighborhood. When we have a window open, we hear many calling her out by name when walking by. She is beyond loved.
We are in the middle of starting a family business and this came as a complete surprise. Thinking it was her hips, we knew that solutions may be slim. Come to find out her genetics caught up with her and damaged her knee and has taken away her most enjoyable activities.
