Manon is a 1 year old American Shorthair in Newhall , CA, who needs $2,000 for Exploratory Surgery.

Manon is our family cat we rescued her in November of 2024. She’s around a year- a year and a half old. She hasn’t had any issues until now but she’s very loving with everyone in our family she’s extremely playful and energetic. We all love her very much, even the people in our family who “don’t like cats” live her dearly. She’s honestly amazing and brings a smile to everyone’s face.

So a few days ago she threw up and it was very strange for us because she hasn’t had any issues before. The next day she did not eat and the day following. We are on day 4 of her barely eating and when she does eat she vomits immediately. We took her to the vet this morning and were told that we had a foreign object in there and that she needs surgery tomorrow remove it.

Manon holds such a special place in mine as well as my families hearts. We have a large family with kids and all and she is so sweet with them she plays with the kids and snuggles (when she wants to). We had a close family member pass away and my grandmother hasn’t been alright since but when she’s around Manon I can see some joy back in her eyes. Anyway we love our cat so so much.

This surgery was a shock for all of us. It’s an emergency surgery that nobody could have planned for. The vet priced it at $4000 which we do not have right now. It’s very devastating to hear that something is wrong with your pet it would mean everything to help her.
