Manson is a 9 year old American Shorthair in Conway, AR, who needs $2,000 for Spleenectomy / Exploratory Surgery.

We got Manson as a baby in a pet store 9 years ago in North Carolina when my partner was in the military. When we first got him, he was a very sickly little guy, but he was the only one in the cat cage that got up and came to my partner when he was talking to them. We got him home and took care of his upper respiratory infection, and he's been our fat, sassy guy ever since. He is our middle baby.

The issue at hand is that Manson seems to have a mass on his spleen. He's been acting perfectly fine, even having zoomies and harassing his little/big sister like normal, up until yesterday. Yesterday was awful. He was being off. He came to where I was and collapsed in front of me, screaming, panting, then just lay limp. I rushed him to our vet to find out he has a mass & needs surgery ASAP.

He is one of the most special animals I've ever had. He has such a big personality. He's loving, but he likes to choose who gets to love him (that isn't Mom & Dad). He loves sitting on bags & having kick fights w/ my shoes. He even has a favorite toy he takes out when we leave, carries around, & leaves it in places we would normally be at when we are home. He is just the sweetest boy.

Currently, I am not working, as I'm a full-time student. My partner works full weeks & very hard to take care of us & our babies, so he is the only one bringing in income. It would mean the world to get our baby back home and healthy. Our other 2 are so lost without him.
