Maple is a 6 month old American Pit Bull Terrier in Killeen, TX, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Medical Treatment.

Maple was found abandoned in a construction site when she was pregnant. She was rescued by my family. We are currently fostering her and her puppies, we have been the psst 8 weeks. This is the first time she's ever had a home, and the security of knowing that she and her puppies will be taken care of no matter what.

The ER Vet told us they believed Maple was in the last stages of a horrible heat stroke and she needed IMMEDIATE medical intervention to save her life. She has gotten multiple labs done, shes on oxygen, fluids, and frozen plasma transfusion. She will need to stay overnight in the ER Vet for tonight and will be reassessed tomorrow.

She is currently at the Animal Emergency Center of Killeen

Maple is an amazing dog. She is less than a year old, yet has so much personality. She loves to play with my families other dogs, and she loves to rough house with her own puppies that we are fostering. Mostly, she loves to chill out on her outside bed while chewing on her chew toys while my mom does work in the yard.

My parents have supported me, my sister, and our significant others through college for the past seven years, and any time we need anything, they are the first to jump to help us. Now, they need help to save Maple's life. Maple has finally gotten a real family and home.
