Maple is a 3 Month Old American Shorthair in Princeton, MN, Who Needs $1,800 for Xray, Labs, and Treatment for Possible Pneumonia.

Maple is my college sons kitten. He wanted a fur baby friend while he is away from home from our family cats. He missed them so much he had to get one for himself! He loves his fur baby so much, she has been such a joy for him and a good homework/video game buddy!

Weds 11/19 Maple has been breathing 90-100 breaths per min, she is wheezing, crackles and very lethargic. She isnt eating. Blue pearl hospital gave her a diuretic shot and antibiotics to treat possible pnuemonia. She needs labs and xray but those two things cost 1700 which my son doesnt have. They are unsure if its heart failure or not. She needs to be on oxygen which we dont have.

Maple became apart of the family. We are a big family of 6 and all my boys adore her. My college kiddo and his roomates all love her. She is very spunky, busy and fun! She loves to play and play video games with my son haha. She even chases things on the tv when they are watching tv. Its super cute and funny.

My son is a full time college student who is double majoring, wokring full time and a track athlete along with being a kitty parent. He has limited funds after he pays his bills and groceries. Being we are a bigger family, financials are tight for us as well.
