Mara came into my life 9 years ago when I was looking for a pup to adopt and she was about to be put down at the pound. I quickly fell in love. She’s smart and sweet, and the most protective best friend I have ever had. She is my only love and pup right now but she is great by herself, she even plays fetch by herself.

She is the only pup in the house but she lives with two cats and two lizards. She is always the warmest welcome for friends and family alike when they visit or come home. We live with my sister and have a small family setting which is more love for her. She is great with people and other animals alike, always wants to play. She will welcome anyone with a toy.

My nana who I am a caregiver for has been going through her own medical needs which can be financially draining and some help with this unexpectedl vet bill would mean more money to help my nana and keep food on my table.

I recently found out she has mast cell cancer and we need to have to surgery immediately to remove the mass. Then we need to send it away to find out what grade it is and what treatment plans we have available. We take her Longwood Vet Clinic in Longwood FL with Dr. Marble. I want her to see many more years and enjoy life.

When I come home she knows it’s me coming down the hallway and she howls for me, when I enter the door she has her favorite toy waiting for me. She loves to sit with me while I work during the day and is so patient for our daily walks out of the house. When you give her a treat she does all her tricks at once which is the best.
