Marcel is a 12 year old Chihuahua in Harrison, NJ, who needs $6,300 for Surgery.

Marcel is a rescue dog from a shelter. He's been cared for since day one after being rescued and he was the sweetest beautiful dog every single day since.

Recently, I noticed Marcel was showing signs of discomfort—scooting and excessively licking his booty. Concerned, I took him to our vet, who initially thought it was a simple issue with his anal glands. Unfortunately, after expressing his glands, the symptoms persisted, and a follow-up visit led to a biopsy. The results were heartbreaking: Marcel was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma on his anal gland

Marcel has traveled with us 48 states and 5 different countries because if we travel, he travels, and he absolutely loved exploring every place he got to see.

So far on we have spent already over 1500 to do tests and Vet appointments. The upcoming surgery and further testing will cost between 6 to 10k and the chemo will add an additional 4-5k on top of it. It is unexpected and well above what our financial situation.
