About this campaign

Marco was abandoned by the only family he knew. The young pup was dumped along a busy highway and struggled to survive. He was scared, alone, and hungry.

He begged for food handouts from anyone that would help him at his new "home," a local gas station.

Then Marco was hit by a car! He had a broken pelvis and a dislocated leg and could no longer stand. The injured pup landed in a high-kill shelter, where he sat for days without pain medication or medical care.

The shelter was at max capacity, and due to Marco's medical issues, he was at the top of the euthanasia list. That's when One by One Animal Advocates came to his rescue!

"Marco didn't ask to be abandoned, hit by a car, or end up in a shelter, and we certainly didn't want him to die," Heather A., from the nonprofit group, tells Waggle.

The group was stretched to its financial limits, but if they didn't save Marco, he would have been killed.

Marco needs surgery to help him heal and walk again at the Proctorville Animal Clinic. Please give to his campaign so he can have a second chance at a new life!
