Mariah Grace is a 6-year-old in Pocomoke , MD, who needs $1,000 for Surgery to remove pyometra and spay.

This is Mariah Grace. I have had her since she was 10 weeks old and she is now 6.5 years old. I am disabled permanently in a wheelchair (I lost my left leg) and Mariah has been right by my side and has provided such emotional care to me. She knows when I’m upset and sometimes I fall and she is right by my side. She has always been healthy and has had all her vet care that’s needed up to this point

Mariah has always been a friendly, loving laid back dog. She is calm and keeps me calm as well. She loves everyone! She is my Emotional Support Dog. I have been taking her with me to my doctor appointments for awhile now. Everyone always has treats for her. Everyone loves her❤️ She loves people and other dogs and cats.

I don’t think it’s possible for me to list all of the reasons why she is so special to me. She’s just my everything. She loves everybody and everybody loves her. She is so sweet and is comfortable around other dogs and cats. I had a pekapoo, before I got her, and I loved him beyond measure. He passed away at 7years old. She looked a lot like him and I named her after him. His name was Zachariah

Mariah has never had any medical issues. However, a few days ago she was not acting herself; she wouldn’t eat, not even her special snacks. She had been in my lap with her head on my chest. She sleeps with me in my bed every night. I sat up with her for 3 nights and held her as her health continued to decline. I knew something was definitely wrong. I took her to the vet right away!

Mariah is my baby girl. I cried and begged God to save her. I finally got a veterinarian appointment for her. I knew it was something serious, and it was. Her WBCs were off the chart. She went into surgery immediately and it was a uterine tumor. It was removed intact!
