Marley is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Durham, NC, who needs $2,000 for Osteosarcoma and Amputation.

Marley came into my life in 2018. She was previously a rescue my friend had and due to life circumstances, I didn’t want her to return to the animal shelter. So I took her in where she gave her late big brother Junior some of the best years of his life. Through the ups and downs, Marley has been a solid and loyal companion.

On May 4th, Marley was confirmed to have neoplasia/osteosarcoma. It saddens my heart to see her be so limited with her activity. But she still has her same spunk. Due to her diagnosis, she is unable to use one of her hind legs. She is currently on pain medication leading up to her unfortunate amputation.

Marley is such an amazing companion. She loved long walks, meeting new people, riding in her car seat, sweet potato treats and sun bathing. She is a HUGE cuddle bug and loves to be tucked into bed. I love how loyal and protective she is and how she has such a unique personality like I do.

This recent diagnosis was so unexpected and I want to make sure Marley gets the care she deserves. She is not only my pet; but my friend and confidant. She brings me so much joy to come home and see her smiling face and wagging tail. I hope to spend many more years with her.
