About this campaign
I brought Marty home in January 2019. I answered an ad on Craigslist, a local; breeder had 6 puppies left. Our home is a cozy, one-bedroom apartment I was lucky to have a job at a small store that let me bring Marty along. He loved it! Customers would pop in just to see Marty, and bring their family along. Marty would wait for the bus just to herd the children to their homes one by one.
Marty developed a limp in his right hind leg that would come and go. When I took Marty to Erlanger Veterinary Hospital to see Dr. Andrew Pfaehler he diagnosed Marty with a ruptured cruciate ligament in his right hind leg, which has now left him lame.
Marty still has that puppy curiosity, so playful and sweet. He loves to socialize and see everything. He loves to get attention and be loved on. When it's time for bed he is so cuddly, quite the snuggler.
I had several medical issues last year, four of which required surgery. The only income is a monthly payment of SSDI, and Rent, utilities, phone, internet, car insurance, and vet bills all must be paid. All I want is to be able to give Marty his life back, he is my world.
