Marty is a 5 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Erlanger, KY, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Repair of the Right ACL and Right Meniscus.

The year 2014 brought an unbearable, heartbreaking loss which devastated my family. On the morning of June 19th I found my 30 year old son had taken his life by suicide.Every second brought with it a searing pain. My marriage of 33 years, my 3 remaining children could not be a part of my painful existence I couldn't let my pain to destroy them. Alone I headed down a dark path, but then found Marty

Marty had displayed signs of a very serious injury. I could see the pain as he limped and how he was looking for me to comfort. Numerous veterinary appointments, x-rays, pain meds, anti-inflammatory meds I struggled to cover the cost. His diagnosis was a tear or strain of his ACL. most recent injury is the complete tear of the ACL and meniscus. Marty can only drag his rear legs now.

Marty brought love to me when I needed it most. He has been there for me as I held on to him for comfort. Please make it possible to provide this surgery relieving Marty's pain. I can't imagine my life without the love of this amazing soul. To say that he is just a dog is far from the actual place that he holds in my life.
