Marty is a 14 year old Mix-Breed in Round Lake Heights, IL, who needs $700 for Abdominal Ultrasound.

This kitty is Marty. My friend found him when he was only days old and bottle-fed him. I got him when he was 6 months old. Marty is a VERY social cat who thinks everyone who comes over is there to see him! Marty is 14 years old.

He still plays, eats, drinks, everything like usual except, Marty has gone from 11.7lbs to 7.4lbs since February. He had bloodwork done at Round Lake Animal Hospital and it showed that he is anemic. They gave him a B-12 shot and want to do an abdominal ultrasound to rule out cancer or digestive issues like a bleeding ulcer but it's $700.

Marty has been a member of my family since he was 6 months old. He is the most friendly cat and was my mom's favorite cat. She passed almost 6 years ago and I feel like I need to do EVERYTHING I can to keep him alive. She wouldn't just "give up" on him, so there's no way that I can.

I'm pending disability. My boyfriend is currently working two full-time jobs to keep us going. We have a 17 month old who adores Marty. She adores all cats! We've maxed out our CareCredit cards on two of our other cats. Saving Marty would be like saving a piece of my mom.
