Marz is a 1-year-old Norwegian Forest Tabby mix in Mitchell, IN, who needs $300 for an annual exam and medications.

This is Mars, she is a beautiful baby and I’ve had her since she was born. I rescued her mom and she was pregnant unknown to me! Mars was one of two kittens. Her sister Jupiter was the complete opposite a grey and white tabby shorthair. I have always loved the Mars and it fits her perfectly. We currently live with my in laws until we can financially move into our own home again. She has 2 brothers.

When Mars was 6 months old sadly we lost her sister. Unfortunately to the same issue we still struggle with Mars today. She use to only be with her sister but when Jupiter passed she immediately started sleeping in bed with us. She LOVES the laser toy. One jingle of the chain attached, and she on it! When I’m home she usually spends 80% of the time on me or following me everywhere. She’s my besty.

Due to COVID I lost my job due to shut downs in my state. I recently got a job offer but I’m not sure when I would get paid, and my kitty is getting very sick. I want to help her as soon as possible!! She’s my world!

Mars was unfortunately given feline herpes virus from her mother when she was born. This started a hard process of not eating well to stopping completely. I have taken her to the vet for this many times, she always gets better but antibiotics are a must for her. She also needs to be wormed, shots and fleas. She has a sensitive skin condition and has also started to lose hair.

When Mars is happy she is usually prancing around, I believe she knows how pretty she is. Her favorite thing to do is bring helicopters into the house and run laps! She also spends a lot of time in her tunnel! When I said that was her favorite thing to do I lied, technically she loves food, I can open a can and wait 1 second and she’s there!!
