About this campaign

Matty was rescued from a home with an alcoholic owner and immediately needed medical attention.

She was spayed through a community program but tested positive for Lyme disease and required doxycycline for a month. Due to her owner's condition, she stayed with a friend.

Matty then suffered a terrible injury after being hit by a car. Her leg was hot and swollen, and she was in pain. Thankfully, One by One Animal Advocates rescued her and took her to urgent care. Sadly, initial X-rays have shown that Matty has suffered two femur fractures - how painful!

Surgery can save her leg, but it will be complicated and expensive. She needs an FHO as well as two fractures repaired. The success of the surgery depends on how old the fracture is and what the teams of vets find when they get in there.

Everyone who has met this sweet girl is determined to do everything they can to help Matty make a full recovery, but her medical expenses are piling up.

Matty deserves a chance, but the rescue can't afford it alone.

Let's come together to help this precious pup heal and live a happy life again. Thank you for your support!
