Maui is a 6 year old French Bulldog in East Haven, CT, who needs $2,000 for Herniated Disc Surgery.

Maui came into our live 6 years ago because my friends mom found him with a backyard breeder and convinced him to let me have him. He has two fur baby siblings and a hooman who’s 13. He’s very loved and apart of our family.

Maui has disc issues and recently within 48 hours he got severely worse and had a herniated disc which caused him to be unable to stand on his hind legs. We rushed him to Pieper Memorial Hospital in Middletown CT and they did emergency surgery today. The other option was he’d no longer be with us.

Maui is my soul dog. He loves to cuddle with us all on the couch, he’s a coach potato, he always snores loudly in your ear and loves to be with everyone. He likes to go for rides in the car and play with his siblings.

This expense was unexpected and major - unfortunately as most people are we’ve been struggling since Covid and don’t have much a savings if any at all.
