I was sitting in my living room alone pretty late during a storm. And out my window I heard a faint, despair meow. I had to go out and see if in fact it was an abandoned kitten as it sounded. Sure enough it was, he was shivering and leaning against the wall to stay dry. I quickly got a towel but out of fear he ran to my crawlspace. He was there two days before I was able to lure him out.

I’ve spoken and shown the images to a few clinics and they all want to take X-rays to see if he has any fractures. Along with sedation, pain meds, etc it’s too much financially for me.

I want to help him because he has a fighting spirit. For being so young he already experienced multiple emotions and still is hanging on. Pain, rejection, hunger, frigid temps, fear, loneliness. Regardless of all that he still is very sweet and trusted in a human to help him. He has a radiant energy and it has to be spared.

I have two young preschoolers that limits my work options due to school scheduling and too young to start school. My only source of income is part-time which doesn’t go far for a family of three. My kids have fallen in love with the kitten and so has he.
