Maverick is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Philadelphia, PA, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.

Maverick was a stray born in my garage in the spring of 2020 due to the extent of injuries sustained maverick has found his forever home with me due to the fact that he will be an amputee. Maverick was never fully astray, even though he lived outdoors. He was care for by myself and my neighbors, especially my neighbor a few doors down.

Maverick had sustained injuries that require multiple surgeries. His left hand leg is being amputated his left front leg needs to have a surgery to place a steel plate in hopes of grafting a bone that had been broken in half.

Maverick was not quite a stray cat. He was more like a four legged neighbor. He is sweet. He is charming. He is very much loved by my neighbors, especially myself and my neighbor Carole. Maverick came into my house injured as we were seeking medical attention, and he has made himself quite at home. He gets along with my cat has a very healthy appetite, has proven to be very loving & affectionate

My neighbor, Carole and I are attending to Mavericks care both of us are on fixed incomes. I am chronically ill receiving disability as is Carole. Through our chronic illnesses, Maverick’s presence in our lives has given us something to look forward to has given us a purpose
