Maverik is a 4 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Clover, SC, who needs $2,000 for Blockage Removal (Enterotomy or Gastronomy).

We have had Maverik since he was a puppy. He is now 4 and an important part of our family. He has so much energy and is so smart. We live in a large house with a large backyard and Maverik enjoys spending his day playing with his toys and herding the grandchildren. He has always been happy and healthy and enjoys long walks and rolling in the grass on a sunny day.

Maverik steals socks and, while we try to keep this from happening, he ate what we thought was 1. We found out after he could not keep anything down that it was 2 socks he stole. The 2nd lodged in the intestine near the colon and even with the vet at Carolina Veterinary specialist flushing fluids it isnot moving. We are speaking to a specialist but they think emergency surgery is needed to remove.

Maverik is so smart and has so much energy. He loves playing with the kids, herding them and butt and belly scratches. He loves playing fetch and spending time with his family. He loves walks and rolling around in the grass on a sunny day. He is quick to learn new tricks and loves treats. He is a special part of our family.

We have exhausted all of our funds and financial options so far helping and we do not want to lose our pup. He is an important part of our family and losing him would be devastating. Please help us keep our puppy.
