Max is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier in bear, DE, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization, Medications, Labs.

Max will be turning 4 this Wednesday June5, 2024. He has lived happily with us, his mom and dad in Bear Delaware since he was 2 months old. Max was considered the "runt" of the litter but has proved everyone wrong and become a big, energetic, protective, loveable addition to our family and we can't imagine life without him.

Several days ago, Max suddenly became sick, vomiting and lethargic. We took him to Blue Pearl Hospital in Newark, Delaware. We were devastated to learn that he was either suffering from some sort of infection, toxin or even cancer. We were told his liver was compromised and would need days to weeks of hospitalization, testing, and treatment.

Max has a lot of energy! He loves to play fetch, play and chew on his favorite bones and cuddle up on his favorite blanket at bedtime with his mom and dad. Max may look like a big guy but he's still puppy like in a lot of ways. He loves when grand mom and human brothers and sisters come visit.

This is an unexpected medical expense. Although we were able to secure $5000 in Care Credit, our veterinarian has told us that Max will need far longer treatment in order to survive and we don't have it. Max is young and he's a fighter, he just needs a chance!
