About this campaign

My Father Irving, whose dog Max was a gift to him when my Mother died in 2017. They were married for 66 years. My Father had him since he was a puppy, he is 6 years old now. Last summer in August Max had a medium size bump on his left side, it was concerning to me because it didn’t look normal. We took him to VET in Brooklyn. They took a skin sample and told us its just a fatty tissue.

Max sleeps on an orthopedic bed with built in pillow, in the corner in the living room.
He watches my dad every move keeps him in his sight always. He knows some how when it's time to eat and go out . Getting his bowl as if to say u know what time it is. Max is always excited when family comes to visit. Still loves to play despite the lump, very active .

He loves to play tug of war with his rope toy. He gives the side eye with one eye looks at my dad with the other eye, so funny to see that I laugh every time ask how you do that or he sits and stare with this old man droopy face so funny has my dad face he's 89.

I am on a fixed income SS
What it would mean to me is to have Max normal again it breaks my heart to see that lump on his side, he can't talk to tell me if he is in pain. I have had dogs all my life one dog lived to be 17 years old.
