Max is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Dierks, AR, who needs $2,000 for Cystotomy.

I rescued Max when he was six months old. He became closely attached to myself and my family and eventually was trained and certified as a psychiatric service dog. I suffer from mental illness and am on disability.

Max developed bladder stones and had to have surgery in October of 2023. He has had a recurrence of the stones and requires surgery again to save his life and give him a good quality of life without suffering from urinary tract obstructions that endanger his life and cause him great suffering.

Max is such a sweetheart. He has a feline house companion named, Tom, who is 16 years old and misses him when he is at the vet or away from home. He is a certified service dog for my mental disability and takes such good care of me and enhances my mental health treatment and quality of life. He is loved like a human child would be in my home.

I live on disability and cannot obtain pet insurance because Max has pre existing bladder issues. I am unable to afford the high costs of his care at this time. He also needs dental surgery which costs close to 2000 dollars due to a neighbor unjustly shooting him in the face
