Max is a 1 Year Old Mix-Breed in Dixmont , ME, Who Needs $6,000 for Bowel Obstruction.

Max was dropped off on my moms farm last year. He was full of fleas, worms and love. Max is the most loving cat I have ever met and so amazing with my kids. He is not only my baby but their baby as well. He has an adopted big brother kitty who also loves him and is currently cuddled up to him, im sure sensing he is not feeling well.

Max fell ill within the last 24 hours, I called emergency vets but they were tending other emergencies and based on his symptoms it seems he may also need surgery. The online estimate is 3000-6000 dollars which i do not have at this time. He appears to be surveying with a bowel obstruction.

Max isnt just a cat, hes our family. He has brought so much love and joy to myself and my kids. Including my special needs daughter who adores him. She is absolutely devastated that he is sick and has given me her own savings; only $10 to help get him the vet care he needs.

I work as a first responder and unfortunately that means I make very little. Its also the holiday season and I had not planned on needing emergency care for one of my fur babies.
