About this campaign
We bought Max as a puppy for my daughter. Then he became my buddy after my divorce. He doesn’t really leave my side unless playing with the kids or checking my daughters or if someone or something is messing around. He is protective and very good at letting me know someone or something is outside. He loves my grandsons and has been by their side since day one.
Max is my baby. He sleeps tight up against me or lays guard at my daughter’s bedroom door. If the grandkids are here he lays right next to them. He protects them if any strangers come on to the property he will circle the kids moving them back into the house or porch area. His favorite thing is baseball with my oldest grandson. He loves playing with his dog friend River.
Max became my emotional support and health support when my health crashed and marriage fell apart. He helps me to walk around outside and in my house when my back or legs go. If something happens he can’t get me up and safe he will go get my daughters or someone to make sure I’m okay.
Max as a pup had massive surgery from being hit with a brush ax. He did great and wonderful and had no issues. He was diagnosed with Anaplasmosis during the summer, fought that hard and won. He was back to his old self and then one day started puking and not eating and it’s built from there. They found a mass in an X-ray and now I need more money to do the next steps to protect my baby.
I have been disabled since 1994, I’m a single mom of 2 daughters and Max. I take care of my father who is 96. We are a big happy family usually. I have exhausted my care credit down to $1. I have tried reaching out to everyone for help and can’t find anything.
