Max is a 7 year old Chihuahua in Hillman, MN, who needs $2,000 for Obstruction Surgery.

I got max 7 years ago as a birthday gift, he was 3 months old. He has been a huge part of our family since. He is best friends with our lab as well. Max has always been healthy and active.

About a week ago max started to throw up. We brought Max in to Lakeland vet in Baxter MN where he had X-rays done and gave anti nausea meds. The vet told us he has an obstruction. We can not see in the x ray exactly what it is. She told us our options of surgery, natural home support or the possibility of putting him down. Max also has a heart murmur, which max things a little more difficult.

Max is not a typical Chihuahua. He loves people and he especially loves his people. He is the first to tell you when there is someone at the door or a squirrel or animal in the yard. He's 7lbs with the mentality of a 75lb dog. He hates thunderstorms or anyone who is loud. But loves nothing more but to be babied on the couch with a good movie.

I'm a single mom of 5 kiddos. I work 2 jobs. I don't have the finances saved for this kind of emergency. There's no words to express how greatful our family would be to have help saving our family members. He has been a huge life support.
