Max is a 14 year old Standard Schnauzer in Houma, LA, who needs $2,000 for Diabetes Treatment.

My first child. I got Max when I was a sophomore in high school. He has been my rock, best companion, and the cuddliest partner a girl could ever ask for. I’m not ready to say goodbye. I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to say goodbye. If I can help him live a long and happy healthy life for as long as possible than that’s what I am going to do.

Today, May 16, Max was diagnosed with diabetes. The vet gave me 2 options. I could either hospitalize him spending $1000s of dollars and hope we can get his vitals back to normal or we can say our final goodbyes and put him down. I’m just not ready for that.

Max has never been a toy dog, but boy is he a treat dog lol. We just love to cuddle together on the couch. We could stay there for hours and never leave each other's side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated by myself, my family, and especially Max! Any extra time that we get to spend with him is so special to us in so many ways!
