Max came on the Southern winds of Bloomington, IN via my best friend. Originally thought a girl cat, he surprised us all when we found the masculine appendages growing. After end to end arguments on what his name change should be, the strident "Max" fit our darling baby boy.

Max WAS an inside kitty. He managed to Houdini it and escape my iron clad security system. I fretted, searched,and worried. I worried, searched, and fretted. eventually, Max wandered in, happy as a claim and pleased with himself. I thought, " why not?" And kept the windows open for him to come and go as he pleased until he came back attacked by a possum. The bite marks themselves were indicative.

Max is a bossy snot who has a lot of issues. But he is my heart. My life. My breath. He has scratched, hissed, and lovingly rubbed my leg into my heart. Many friends say to get rid of him but, just because something is difficult or hard doesn't mean you should give up on it. I refuse to give up on Max and I am asking you to do the same.

I do work but am alone in this venture. Rent is too high, groceries a weight about my neck ( so on my feet days off I pantry), and I have just come from the streets. I was homeless before this. I've come a long way for my Max to have a roof/ loving home.
