Max is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in Leland , NC, who needs $1,500 for Tail Amputation.

We got Max as a kitten he was a resue and my daughter just fell in love with him. He has a very strong personality and sometimes he can be quite mischievous but that is what makes us love him.

Max cut off the tip of his tail by getting it stuck in the door it has left his tail bone exposed and can be very dangerous the only way to save him at this point is to amputation of some or all of his tail. My daughter and I cant afford a 1500 vet bill but without the surgery he will not make it because of infection

Max loves to play with his fishing pole but his favorite toy is a empty box. He is very friendly with our dogs the play with each other. Max gets real mischievous when things are not the way he likes it.

We are on a fixed income and because of the severity of the injury we can not wait to save up the money. I am hopeful that we can get the help we need because the only other alternative is surrendering him to the shelter to save him and that w8be devastating 😢
