I was working for a non profit 12 years ago and my boss had a feral cat who had 8 kittens in her backyard. She had a photo and I saw these huge ears amongst seven tuxedos and all black kittens . I knew immediately that was my cat. I named him Max and he was a hilariously adorable. We’ve been through a lot. He’s the first cat I’ve had for this long. He’s like my kid and I love him more than life!!

I have two cats and four birds. Max+Clementine, then Mochi, Opal, Indy and Fern. It started with one and turned into four lol. Max and I are always together. He’s a very shy boy so unfortunately not many get the pleasure of meeting my cats. Besides eating he loves cuddling on the couch making biscuits while I brush him. He still gets spurts of energy at night and truly loves life. He’s spoiled too

I love every single thing about my boy. When doesn’t like when I FaceTime and always sticks his butt in my face and blocks the screen…he’s relentless! It’s annoying at times but actually quite hilarious. He LOVES his belly rubs and gets them throughout the day. He’s honestly one of the sweetest most trustworthy cats I’ve had-and I’ve had my share. They were all special but Max is something else!

He’s thankfully healthy but has a horrible case of gingivitis along with multiple damaged teeth. The upper left tooth has a huge hole in it. I had no clue it was that bad. He needs blood work for senior’s, so I can find out if he has anything internal that’s serious.

I’m on disability for very personal reasons. I got Max when I was going through something. He helped heal me and still does to this day. He may not be acting like he’s in pain but I know personally what it’s like when you avoid dental work. He’s just going to get worse…
