Max is a 7-year-old Chihuahua in Palmyra, VA, who needs $2,000 for Dental Surgery.

Max was a surprise we received on Oct 31, 2016. My sons dog Sophie gave birth to 4 joys that day. We kept Max. He is my lap dog daily and rides with me wherever I go. He sleeps in my bed nightly and is my protector.

Max is the child of Sophie, who is my other lap dog. Harley is his dad, who I adopted when he was born. Max has Dixie as a playmate and Buddy and Zeus as the big brother/protector. They all sleep next to each other.

Max has a special trait of taking his paw and gently nudging your hand when he want to get on lap and stand up to shoulder to get a hug. He loves his belly rubbed.

Max suddenly developed a lump on face and he was seen quickly at Crossroads Animal Hospital . They were very informative and let me know his teeth were infected and needed to be removed to ease his pain and discomfort.

I became disabled from a major surgery and longer than normal healing time. I have been diagnosed with MS and Sarcoidosis and not able to work. I have no other source of income. My pets are my life to me. Max is my companion and stays by my side constantly.
