Before Max broke his leg we had recently dived into our emergency funds to have front end work on our car so we could get to an from work. Then his injury happend.. Monday morning taking Max and Cam out i turned to look at Cam, praising him for pottying then when i turned back around towards Max an went to head in his direction, he leaped off the 3 tier staircase breaking his leg in 2 places.

We first went to an ER. They didnt splint the leg. Gave no hope or plan of action. Following day went to primary. Sedation, xray, splint, recommendation for surgery, on pain meds 3 times daily and Anti-inflamatories nightly. Have till 31st to raise remaining funds and have surgery done.

Max is pure joy. If you didnt know his kef was broke you'd think he was perfectly fine. He is sweet. Playful and energetic. His blue eyes would melt glaciers. Everyone who meets him just falls in love with him. Hes smart and witty. Max is perfect.

Having to get into emergency funds to repair my car, not knowing this unexpected tragedy would occur. I dont make much but I have been doing all I can. The ER vet alone was 500. The followup with primary was 4something. I just dont have enough to do it alone.
