Max is a 11-year-old Poodle in San Antonio, TX, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removal, Neutering, Tooth Removal.

Max was a random rescue on a Sunday afternoon. I saw a post in a local rehoming condition stating that somebody dumped him in a ditch and the people who had him could no longer care for him. At the time, I didn’t know if I would keep him, but I did know I needed to get him out of his current situation.

Max marches to the beat of his own little drum. He is estimated to be between 11-12 years old and definitely shows it daily. He loves being outside soaking up the sun and is a licensed nap practitioner. Max shows our cat Sola no interest whatsoever but follows me around in between his naps and blanket stealing that he does. He has zero interest in toys and treats but loves a nugget from McDonalds

Max is not only blind but is very hard of hearing. Because of this he finds everything by sight and memory so I’ve learned it’s important to keep his things in certain spots and leave them. He follows me around and gives me random licks on my legs for attention. He has adapted quickly in his new home and

Max was in horrible condition when I got Him into my care. He was severely matted and dirty as well. Once groomed, he went to his vet visit, where he was diagnosed with a heart murmur, a slightly enlarged heart, minor tumors on his skin, an enlarged prostate, rotten teeth, and lens luxation.

Max is a rescue, and his medical issues though not emergent, is an unexpected expense for me as a single mom. I feel that Max deserves the best quality of life I can give him.
