About this campaign

Max aka as Maxi came to our lives 8 years ago. We got him for our sons birthday present. He is a good hearted dog. He enjoys to play balls and balloons.

Maxi always sleeps with me. When he sees me waking up, he automatically goes to my pillows and lays down as a sign for me to get up. He loves playing with balloons and emptied water bottles. Anytime he sees my nephews running, he goes after them trying to play. He is a really playful doggie.

Maxi is a great listener. Whenever I feel sad. He goes to my side and for some reason he knows how to bring me back up. One of our favorite game is hide and seek. It’s funny when he tries to find us.

About two months ago, he started having episodes that seemed to be epileptic. We took him to a veterinary specialty center for blood work and ultrasound. He was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Generally speaking, and statistically speaking, dogs that are treated with surgery tend to live a normal live. Dogs that are treated only with medicine, tend to live a shorter life. I want Maxi to live more

Due to the cost of the surgery, I’m unable to come up with the funds in such a short period of time. Any help
Is greatly appreciated. Any small donation will mean everything to me. Please help me keep Maxi healthier.
