March 2016 this little man found his way to our home. He came into our yard and never left. A week later we found his “owner” at the time. They didn’t want him no longer and gave him to us. To find out he was once left at their home and not wanted by them either. We gladly took him in, got him groomed and since that day he has been apart of our family. 3rd times the charm and in his forever home.

Max came into our lives a few months after my Grandfather passed. His gestures and old man looks, my husband called him Grandpa. Like he was meant to be in our home. Looking out for us. He was welcomed by his human brother and sister with open arms and his fur cat sister. They became friends fast. He loves going on hikes, eating watermelon and chasing lizards.

Max snores. And when he does it makes the whole family laugh. It can get really loud. His facial expressions tell it all. He even smiles. It’s the cutest. And when he is happy, boy does that tail wag. And the excitement when he wants a treat he dances on his hind legs. Loves to cuddle and sleep under a blanket.

He had a mass growing on his head that started small and now has tripled in size. It’s angry and he needs surgery to remove it. He has to keep his head wrapped at all times and wear a cone. Starting treatment is antibiotics and a steroid to see if it Shrinks for a better surgery outcome. He is being seen at Lake Elsinore Hospital by Vet Hentz.

My husband has lost his job several times in the past couple years so we have struggled financially for some time. Unexpected medical expenses for myself along with car problems that took us down to only having 1 liable car. Max means the world to us, we need him healthy.
