My little guy Maximus is a full breed Yorkshire Terrier who is such a sweet boy and very energetic little pup. Who came into my life as a gift from my husband as my little companion.

My little fur baby became ill. I thought it was a stomach bug at first but it quickly turned into something worse. I rushed him to the veterinary hospital where he had undergone tests to see what was going on with him. The doctor at Animal Health Center came out and told me the devastating news. That my fur baby was in kidney failure. It was hard to believe that he was going through this.

I name my fur baby Maximus after the character in my favorite movie Gladiator played by Russell Crowe. He is so small but has a mighty heart and full of energy. Maximus loves to be held & loved by everyone around. He also love the outdoors and love car rides. Most of all he loves attention and being pampered. My husband got him for me because I told him I was lonely at home while he went to work.

It means the world to me that my little guy was given a second chance at life and that he will be around to keep my heart healthy. He brings me so much joy. I became disabled and help me with my mental health. I not lonely when my husband is at work or my kids are at school.
