Maxx is an 8-year-old Mix in Hixson, TN, who needs $1,950 for mass removal.

Maxx was given to us by one of our daughters classmates family when he was 7 1/2 weeks old. We fell in love with him at first site. I had a Massive stroke a year prior and I was going through some really tough times. He was a blessing in disguise. He's definitely a mama's boy! He senses when I'm down and knows how to cheer me up.

Maxx sleeps on his puppy covers that are on the love seat and likes to take naps at the foot of our bed. He loves playing tug-a-war, playing get your paws, playing with our granddaughter and great neices when they visit and loves to give hugs. He loves his human mama, daddy, sister, brothers and their spouses.

Maxx loves his mama! He likes to lay on my foot that I've had 5 surgeries on. It's like he's trying to protect it Loves his daddy! Daddy gives him treats and gets his tickle spot. He gets super excited when his human sister and her fiance come over and bring their dogs to visit. They run circles around the inside of the house and love to play fetch in the backyard.

The Veterinarian took x-rays of Maxx's back hips and abdominal areas to check out his hip area since 2 weeks earlier he had problems with his back legs and trying to get up. They found a softball sized mass on his spleen that she wasn't looking for . Very unexpected!!! His vet is Dr. Felty @ Riverview Animal Hospital.

My husband just started back to work and I'm on disability. We've had a rough couple of years. It would mean the world to us for Maxx to have a chance for a longer and healthy life. He's our baby!
