About this campaign

When Boston Terrier Rescue of East Tennessee saved May Bea from the euthanasia list at Miami-Dade Animal Services, she was a fragile little soul—thin, weak, and struggling just to stand. Her breathing was labored, her appetite gone, and every step caused her pain.

But this brave girl’s story didn’t end there. Thanks to her amazing foster family (who lovingly call her “Bea Bea”) and compassionate donors like you, she had her first femoral head ostectomy (FHO) surgery and a nares surgery to open her airways. For the first time, May Bea could breathe freely, smell her food, and finally enjoy mealtime again!

Now thriving alongside her three foster Boston Terrier sisters, May Bea loves to play, cuddle, and nap—but she’s not out of the woods yet. Her other hip still causes her daily pain, and she needs a second FHO surgery to finally live pain-free.

This surgery will change her life—it will mean no more pain, no more limping, and the chance to run and play like the joyful little dog she’s always wanted to be.

Please help May Bea get her second chance at a pain-free life. Your donation will go directly toward her upcoming surgery and recovery care. Every dollar makes a difference for this resilient, happy girl who’s fought so hard to get here.
