May is a 5 year old Golden Retriever in Zionsville, PA, who needs $2,000 for Lyme Nephritis and Further Work Up.

Our family expanded with May just like a lot of us do when getting a dog. The dad says no and the mom says yes! she is beyond the sweetest girl! My husband and I knew that the day she came into our lives. She is truly a family member at times she forgets she isn’t like one of the kids! She loves to play ball, and is very happy in the car. She lives for her “kids” and that slobbery chuck it ball!

May is currently hospitalized at Eastern PA vet medical center
She is still undergoing tests but is getting treatment for lyme nephritis, which her vet said they have seen at this stage make a great recovery. The issue is she is also anemic so a further work up is needed.

May is the kindest, sweetest girl. She has 3 human kids she loves to play with. She also is my snuggle bug for my anxiety. I am fighting stage 3 cancer and she has been here for me on a few emotional roller coaster through treatments and surgery , but she is always right here by my side! And it’s my time to return the favor!
