Meeka is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Corner Brook, NL, who needs $2,000 for X-ray and Bloodwork.

Meeka has been in my life since a few days after she was born. First puppy I held, she had these greenish eyes. Every time I would visit she was the pup that always came running to me. She’s been my soul dog since day one. She chose me. She has been my constant through every storm, my safe place, and most definitely my best friend.

My sweet Meeka’s been panting constantly, losing strength, and showing pale gums. Her tests showed high cortisol and signs of pancreatitis—vet suspects Cushing’s, a tumor, or heart issues. She also ate a bone recently, which may have caused more problems. She needs X-rays and more tests, but I can’t afford it right now. 💔

Shes so kind, loves everyone loves her two girls she is there protector. Loves baby’s especially. And kittens/cats and any small dogs. She is very motherly. She has her two dog sons who she is a great mother too. She loves to bark. Loves to play with her toys. Loves swimming and her walks. And her car rides. The gentle soul, and big floofball. She’s like a dog version of Winnie the Pooh.

Currently on income support living at my parents with my two daughters and dogs until I find a stable job and my own place to live. My father is currently in the hospital as well, life is extremely heavy lately and it’s been a struggle.
