Meeka is a 7 year old Siberian Husky in Granite Falls, NC, who needs $1,000 for Senior Workup.

Meeka came into our family in 2019, she was just a rambunctious puppy full of spunk with a habit of running away. When her running away became too much for her original owner, we took her in. She bonded instantly to my senior boy & my kids. She has sense developed deep connections with our new babies and rescues. She is immensely loved.

Recently Meeka has been having grand mal seizures. She has yet to have any lasting affects from them. Yet they are coming more frequently. I desperately want to get her into our vet to see what is going on, but my own medical issues have left my fiancé fully supporting our family. And money is incredibly tight. Our animals receive care at the wonderful Hudson Animal Hospital.

Meeka is a BRILLIANT girl, who loves her brothers and sisters, and our children too. She goes crazy for popsicles & treats, loves the outdoors and playing chase. She is bonded to her older brother Thrasher, who has been with her since she came to the family.

My personal medical issues have prevented me from being able to work and provide our family with supplemental income to cover things such as unexpected vet bills. But I can’t sit around and do nothing while my baby suffers, so here I am.
