Meeka is a 12 year old Siberian Husky in Spokane, WA, who needs $5,000 for CT Scan/MRI.

Meeka is a Siberian Husky, born in Arizona and has been in my life for 12 years. She came to me as a puppy as she was given to me. She has been there for me through some of the hardest chapters of my life including my journey as a domestic violence survivor and throughout my healing process. She is currently living in a happy home with her brother Nanook (Malamute) and my fiancé Nate in WA state.

Meeka had teeth extracted in 2024 by a vet in western WA, but mouth irritation persisted. After moving to eastern WA, a new vet raised concerns about the prior procedure. A CT scan or MRI is now needed to determine next steps, costing between $1,600–$5,000. We are unable to afford this and are seeking help.

Meeka loves her squeaky toys especially her ginormous Santa toy that is fluffy, crinkly, and squeaky and she takes it with her everywhere and sleeps with has her pillow. She is the sweetest pup ever who has given such light and happiness to everyone who knows her. She has saved me during a time as a survivor of domestic violence. She is seriously an angel.

Sudden major expense with no emergency fund due to cost of living, gas prices, food/grocery prices, and the cost of the CT scan. It has been a huge financial burden with the current economic crisis and economic recession.
