Meeko is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Appomattox, VA, who needs $1,000 for Dental Procedure.

A friend of mine runs a cat rescue. When she shared the picture of Meeko on her FB page I fell in love with him immediately. He is a special little boy. When she got him, he was only a couple months old and unfortunately had already lost one eye and one leg from an accident. Even though I already had 4 cats, I knew Meeko needed to be with me.

Meeko has been seen by Cumberland Animal Hospital a few times to treat him for Stomatitis. He has a very bad case of it and despite trying to combat it with medicine, he needs all of his teeth removed.

Meeko is a very special little boy and everyone that meets him loves him. As soon as I brought him home, he fit right in with my dog and 4 other cats (a momma cat and her 3 babies). Meeko is a fearless little boy with a huge heart and lots of love. He is a cuddle bug and bonded immediately with my largest cat (Daniel). Daniel was 3 when I brought Meeko home. They love to play together.

I lost my job in 2020 and my husband is a disabled veteran with a fixed income. We have already spent over $500 and it will take over $1000 for surgery to get Meeko back to his healthy happy self. It breaks our heart to see him in such pain.
