Hello. We adopted our beloved Meesha when she was just 8 weeks old. She came from a rough home and had to be surrendered due to the conditions. Now, she is 6 year old and a huge part of our family. She has myself and her “dad”, plus 2 brothers and 2 sisters that love her dearly. She is a cuddle bug, loves her belly rubs, and even gets her own leash when she is ready for her walks!

On 7/16, Meesha became lethargic and began excessive vaginal bleeding. We reached out to BluePearl pet hospital in Pittsburgh ( 1 hr from us) and They informed us that she has an infection that requires immediate surgery. They prescribed an antibiotic but stated that it would not help her, only aid with minimizing sepsis for a brief time.

Meesha loves walks and chasing her ball. She rips apart every fluffy toy she can get and will “suckle” on stuffed toys as well. She loves her brothers and sisters, any kind of attention where she can get belly rubs, and even plays with other animals. For Meesha, attention from humans or animals is accepted, as long as she is getting attention and can play.

Both myself and Meesha’s “dad” are working, but we live paycheck to paycheck. The surgery she needs costs anywhere from $2500-$3000 and we cannot come close to that. Care credit has denied us, and we have no family that can help.
