About this campaign
I rescued my dog Meho in 2011 in the State of Utah; he was on the verge of being euthanized at only 2 years old! His been with me 13 of his 15 years. He was born Oct 2008. He is a relatively healthy dog; everyone calls him the “forever puppy.” I moved back to CA after 16 years because my dad had a medical emergency and out of the blue, Meho recently became ill.
Meho is my ESA/service pet. We go to many different hiking spots all over Utah, been to every dog park available, he eats a healthy human-grade diet with several healthy varieties from blueberries to salmon, he plays with bigger dogs such as Great Danes, plays with cats, and even wildlife such as squirrels. His friendly with all the newborns to seniors. For a chihuahua; he doesn’t bark at all.
My dog is special because he has comforted me from the darkest of times. He has put smiles on depressed kids, given hope to the handicapped, and even make senior citizens feel young again! Yes, his not a dog to me but a valuable family member. He has strived to make me better. From your average warehouse worker to an everything engineer.
Im not sure what is wrong with Meho, we haven’t been in California long enough. But one of the best vets in California recommended a CBC+Chem 15+Lytes TT4 Thyroid, Pancreatitis Snap Test cPL, and 2 x-ray views.
He is constantly vomiting, He had anal gland surgery in Utah and I’ve spent over $20,000 just in healthcare for my dog. He was 100% in Utah before we came here.
It cost me around $10,000 to move from UT to CA. I lost my job because my job was based out of UT, no terminal in CA so I couldn’t transfer. I moved here because my dad had an emergency medical procedure. CA also has 37 times more people than UT so employment is hard.
