Mel was found roaming outside; with a tipped ear, it was clear she was a stray who has spent her life on the streets.

A community cat advocate and trapper found Mel and immediately knew this sweet soul was meant to have a forever home. Mel is so friendly and sweet, the advocate brought her to Adopt A Cat Foundation to be adopted.

However, upon examination, it was clear that something wasn't quite right. Mel is suspected to have FIP or cancer and requires an ultrasound to determine exactly what is going on. Treatment options will be discussed once the vet has a diagnosis. Despite the pain and discomfort she must feel, Mel is still the sweetest and quick to make biscuits!
