we adopted Mellows from a Facebook post, he was less than two weeks old, and he has been living with us since then he is three years old now, we do have one other pet at the house a female cat named Fefe, Fefe recently moved to stay with us after her owner which is my older sister had passed away from cancer, we named him mellows because my one-year-old nephew called him mellows at first.

Mellows easily interacted with me and my family members, he is so friendly and he knows our friends and he likes them as well, but he doesn't like it when we do big gatherings so he either goes outside or finds a closet and sleeps there. he takes long naps and gets so excited when it's time to eat. when I get home from work, he runs to me and pet me.

Mellows is a treat for the eyes. his behavior is as good as his look. he is so smart, he has learned how to open doors. he always comes to me when I call him and can tell when my car has gotten home! when he goes outside and plays he always tries to catch the frogs and birds and play around with them. he used to keep our house clean and never let any other pet be around the house.

Mellows was doing great until he was hit by a car on 1/2/2024 he walked a long way on his hands to get home begging for help, we took him to Memphis Veterinary Specialists, who found multiple pelvic and ankle fractures, they repaired the ilial fracture with bone plates and screws. they also put a cast on his leg, they did a femoral head & neck ostectomy on him. he also doesn't feel his tail.

I'm a full-time student and I work part-time, I pay rent and I still have a year left in college. it will mean the world to me to see my cat healthy and get help to pay for all of his treatment. He still has to visit the hospital every week.
