ung Rottweiler in urgent need of a home. Named Mercedes, or Cedes for short, she is approximately 2.5 years old. While her past remains largely unknown, we do know she was left outdoors and often roamed the neighborhood. Despite her challenging beginnings, Mercedes possesses a sweet and friendly nature. In addition to her, we have two other dogs at home: Sarama, 3, & Cairo 4 months old.

To the best of our knowledge, Mercedes has never visited a veterinarian. Fortunately, I managed to take her to Petco Animal Hospital the day after bringing her home. There, she received her initial vaccinations and underwent a heartworm test, which regrettably returned a positive result. Dr. Clark provided me with details about the extensive treatment required, which is quite financially daunting.

Mercedes and Cairo enjoy each other's company, while she and Sarama are still working on their relationship. She is beginning to feel at ease in a home filled with love and care. Her passion for squeaky toys and chewing bones is evident. I am thankful we rescued this lovely girl, but I am heartbroken over her heartworm diagnosis.

We are happy to have rescued Cedes, but her new health challenge has led to unforeseen costs. This will involve multiple vet visits, medications, and necessary cage rest. Surrendering her is out of the question; we are committed to her recovery. Any contribution will help!
