Mercedes was born here at our house from a pair of Danes that we had. She is so very loving, gentle, patient and a clean freak. She is 10, but full of life. A loving dog to my Grandsons, loves the cats, just a pure gentle soul. We have lost in the past three years, her mother, her father, her sister.

Mercedes is MY FAMILY. It has been a tough couple years and after losing my sister, she was ALWAYS there to lick away my tears. She just comes to you and puts her head in your lap and gives her whole heart. She is always there so excited when my Grandsons come over. She adores them. I love to watch her do her happy dance at feeding time. Even though she is 10, she doesn’t act it.

Mercedes loves to hide behind my curtains. (Even though from her shoulders back is exposed), I will call her and then all of a sudden she will stick her head out. I tell her she is a goof and she comes right over with her Great Dane lean. Her food dance is so cute, as she picks her front feet up back and forth with excitement.

Her doctor is very knowledgeable and you can tell he truly loves animals by his caring demeanor towards them. Dr. Stocker suggested the removal of the growth. All bloodwork came out good and she was given the approval for surgery.

The last 3 years have been hard. We lost 3 Danes, y son’s dog who became mine, my 17 year old Aussie and my two cats. My husband was at a stop light and was hit from behind, I lost my sister, and my husband fell off of roof, breaking both hips, his pelvis, 5 ribs and T4.
