I adopted Merry from a rescue two states away. She had been a puppy mill breeder for the first 5 years of her life so I knew I was in for a couple challenges. It took a very long time but she is such a happy little girl now!

Merry is being treated at Iowa State. She hasn’t been able to keep anything down for a week, she is dehydrated, and we found she has fluid in her lungs. They are currently running tests and diagnostics to see if we can figure out what is wrong with her.

Merry has grown SO MUCH over the last 5 years. Although she is still afraid of humans, she loves all animals. She adores all stuffies and has a massive collection. She goes crazy for chicken. Her favorite thing in the world is belly rubs, especially if they come from my mom.

This was super unexpected, and while I do have some money stashed away for emergencies, this is an extremely high bill that took me by surprise. I’m doing everything I can to be able to afford it.
