My baby Merle first came into my life as my sisters dog. She got him from a rescue but since the first day I met him I knew he would be my baby. My sister was a great mom for the time being but she works in a hospital and just didn’t have the time to give him all the love he needed and that’s when he came to his forever home with me. He is my whole world and I’ve loved him since the day I met him.

Merle is currently in Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital in Louisville,KY. He abruptly was diagnosed with IVDD and lost function in his back legs. I paid for him to get the emergency surgery and he is now in the icu still in the hospital. With him still being in the hospital and gettng medications/treatment daily, the bill continues to grow. I would do anything for my baby.

My baby Merle is as rambunctious as they come. He is a crazy spitfire who loves socks and will snatch them before you can get them all the way off your feet! He has that typical frenchie attitude, but at the same time is the friendliest little guy ever. He loved watching bluey or bird videos and is the best companion for long car rides and movie nights. He’s the best boy I could ever ask for.

I am in nursing school and can only work weekends meaning my funds are very limited. I always try to give Merle the best and spend lots on his special food and treats. It would mean the world to have my baby back in good condition and not worry about his remaining vet bill.
